The Nintendo 64, often referred to as N64, is a 64 bit video game console released in 1996 by Nintendo. It is the most powerful cartridge based non-handheld system ever produced. The console does not provide an RGB signal and must be modified in order to provide one. The highest quality signal from a stock console is S-video.

Models

There was only one main revision of the hardware. The console was released in Europe, USA and Japan. The consoles software library is region locked.
