The RGB-21 cable is identical in shape to a SCART one. The only way to tell them apart is by opening them and examining the pins used. It was used in Japan for high quality video signals.

  • Composite video signal is a standard video terminal (yellow) and the same. Are superimposed on the decoding sync signal, 0.7Vp-p, 75Ω matching.
  • RGB signals (red, green, blue) are positive analog signals: 0.7Vp-p, 75Ω.
  • Audio signal is 0.4V rms, input impedance is 47kΩ, output impedance is 10kΩ.
