The PC Engine, or TurboGrafx-16 in America, is a game console developed by NEC. It doesn't provide an RGB signal, and thus a mod is needed if you want to get the best video from it.

How to mod for RGB

There are several models of the system, and there are several sources regarding how to do the mod with various results. Here is a list of some of them. Nevertheless the process is basically the same, the RGB lines need to be taken from the video encoder chip (HuC6260 shown below), amplified and then routed to an RGB connector.
